Danish Team Visits AUST for Project Update and Paper Workshop

On December 14th, 2025, the Project Coordinator Dr. Dewan Ahsan and Researcher Professor Dr. Jan Vang visited AUST for an in-depth project update and a day-long workshop on the upcoming paper for the SusLeather project. The meeting was focused on refining the paper’s concept, with valuable feedback provided to the Research Assistants (RAs) involved in the project.

The workshop was a significant step forward for the project, fostering stronger collaboration between the Bangladesh team and their Danish counterparts. The Bangladesh team is led by Project Leader Professor Dr. Mohammad Sarwar Morshed, with Dr. Abu Hamja serving as Deputy Project Leader. The project continues to gain momentum, driven by the collective efforts of the team.

The RAs, including Md. Mahfujul Haq, Md. Asif Mustafa, and Mongsathowai Marma, presented their ideas and progress on the paper, and the Danish team offered insightful suggestions to strengthen their approach. This collaborative session was an essential milestone in aligning the project’s goals with the international team’s expertise, ensuring the success of the upcoming paper.
