Worker Training at Sadar Tannery
On February 23, 2025, a worker training session was conducted at Sadar Tannery. The session was led by Project Leader Prof. Dr. Mohammad Sarwar Morshed, Deputy Leader Dr. Abu Hamja, and Research Assistants Md. Mahfujul Haq, Mongsathowai Marma, and Md. Asif Mustafa.
The training focused on key aspects of Occupational Health and Safety (OHS), including the importance of maintaining worker health and safety, managing workplace risks, and using Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). The session also covered the impact of tannery pollution on health and the preventive measures to reduce risks associated with chemical exposure and unsafe practices.
The attendees were also introduced to the significance of maintaining hygiene and safety protocols in the workplace.
