Next Phase of Intervention Visit to Madina Tannery and Fanney Tannery

On December 17th, 2025, the SusLeather project team continued its intervention phase with important site visits to Madina Tannery and Fanney Tannery to further assess and plan for the next steps.

At Madina Tannery, the team had a productive meeting with the owner, where they engaged in a detailed and open discussion about the current progress and upcoming plans. The conversation was constructive, focusing on refining the intervention strategies and ensuring that all planned interventions align with the company’s goals. The team also discussed potential challenges and solutions to enhance the overall process in the coming phase.

The second visit of the day was to Fanney Tannery, where the team conducted an initial planning session and assessment. The team also focused on understanding the specific needs of the tannery, ensuring that the upcoming phase will address the most pressing challenges effectively.
